A suitable choice of product is one that has at least 20% fat and 35% protein since ferrets need higher fat levels. In fact, balanced fats such as poultry fat are considered as a perfect blend of the essential fatty acids good for the ferrets. Additionally, there should be enough supply of water made available for them, where bowls are better recommended than bottles.
