I was 15 years old, and looking forward to getting my license at 16. I had been working a job for a few years, saving up money for auto sales. I wanted to buy a car as soon as I could, you see.

I knew that, as soon as I was 16, I would be able to drive. I also knew that my parents wouldn’t help me out. I would have to buy a used car with my own money.

Actually, I did not get my first car at one of those auto sales. I want to a lot of used car lots, and I even looked at a few new cars, but I ended up buying a car from a friend.
